Steve C. Uecker

Steve is the
third generation President of Uecker-Witt
Funeral Home and a trombonist in the Band. A noted civic leader, he is
active in the Lakeside Kiwanis and the
Fond du Lac
Arts Council.

Vice Chairman
Wayne M. Wallschlaeger, CPA
|
Wayne
is President of Wallschlaeger Associates
and a percussionist in the Band. He is also a member of Lakeside
Kiwanis, and his family has
hosted several foreign exchange students over the years.

Rosanne Baker

Roseann
represents the Oberreich Foundation on our Advisory Board.
She owns her own business, RB Computers LLC, which offers
computer consulting, installation, training and trouble-shooting for
home and small business.

Richard Bradley, MD
|
Rich
is a retired pathologist and former Medical Director of Consultants’
Laboratory of Wisconsin LLC. A lover of classical music, Rich greatly
enjoys performing in the Symphonic Band on contra bass clarinet since
his retirement.

Laura P. DeGolier,

|
Laura
served under the Thompson administration
as Executive Secretary of the Wisconsin Conservation Corps. A former
underwriter with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, she now runs her
own insurance planning service. She is a member of the Soroptimist Club
and has held offices in the state Republican party.

Art is
retired as President of the Galloway-West Company in
Fond du Lac
, which recently became a subsidiary of Waterford Foods.

Robert
G. Kahl
|
Bob
retired as President of Jackson-Kahl Insurance, the agency that has
provided the Band’s insurance agent since 1976. He is active with the
Kiwanis Club of Fabulous Fond du Lac, a service club which has been
tremendously supportive of the Band and its programs.

Jeanne Ludjack

Jeanne
is Director of Organizational and Executive Development at Mercury
Marine. A resident of Waupun, she has a strong background in music and
community service.

|
Therese
is a realtor with Adashun-Jones, Inc. and an advocate for the Band and
its funding in the business community.

Marysue Michels
|
Marysue
is a Vice President with American Bank of
Fond du Lac
. She has responsibility for branch
offices in
Brownsville
, Knowles and Mayville.

John R. Miller
|
John
is Director of Public and Government Relations with Charter
Communications and coordinates Charter’s inkind sponsorship of program
advertising for the Band and Buttermilk Festival.

Steven J. Peterson
|
Steve
is President of Caxambus
Corporation. A former radio personality, his company owns and operates
radio stations in east central
Wisconsin
. He is also very involved in jazz
programs and activities throughout the state.

J. William Roemer, P.E.
|
Bill
retired after a long career with
the City of
Fond du Lac
, most recently
as Director of Public Works.
He has worked with the Band on many projects including the
Buttermilk
Performance
Center
(1988) and the
new concession stand (1999-2000). Bill is also a member of the FdL
Rotary Club, which actively supports many of the Band’s endeavors.

Marian R. Simons

Marian
formerly was Director of Music Education for the
Fond du Lac
School District
, and since retirement has conducted the
Fond du Lac
Women's Chorus, the Very Special Arts Chorus, and several church choirs.
She is also a volunteer at
St.
Agnes
Hospital
and
Galloway
Village
, an historic collection of buildings operated by the
Fond du Lac
Historical Society. In 2004 she was given the Band’s Syd Mertz Award,
in recognition of her many years of service to the band and other
community causes.

Sr. Susan Treis, CSA

Sr.
Susan is Chair of the Arts and Humanitiies Division at
Marian
College
and serves as the College’s representative to the Board of Advisors.

Richard H. Wehner

Dick
is an attorney in private practice, a former band director and former
saxophonist with the Band. Dick was one of the founders of the
Fond du Lac
Jazz Festival and is currently very involved in the continued progress
of the
Fond du Lac
Arts Council and
Arts
Center
.
