The Fox Valley Symphony is a
thriving professional organization that includes musicians from
throughout Wisconsin and the Chicago area. Under the baton of noted
Brazilian-born conductor Lucia Matos, the Fox Valley Symphony's Fond du
Lac debut will feature familiar light classics by an array of favorite
composers from the last three centuries, including Grieg, Strauss, Bizet,
Mozart, and Rossini.

Victory at Sea, Swinging Songs of Yesterday, and Americana favorites.
Students from C.P.E.S. (Consolidated Parochial Elementary Schools) will
sing America the Beautiful during the concert intermission, and C.P.E.S.
will host a food concession during the evening. Concert is cosponsored
by Advanced Tooling, Inc., Schrage Brothers Inc. and Fond du Lac County.

In this stunning reenactment of the
original 1st Brigade Band from Brodhead WI, some 80 volunteers bring the
Civil War era to life with their unique program of brass band music,
performed on authentic, antique instruments. Attired in uniforms and
gowns, the musicians, color guard, and costumed ladies blend the sights
and sounds of the period with historical anecdotes in a memorable trip
into our country's past!

features child prodigy Geoffrey Gallante on cornet, playing tunes made

plus face painting, kids' conducting contest, a Teddy Bear parade and
other family fun! Selected 8th grade band students will perform the 32nd
Division March with the band.

Big Band, Howard has been the leader of the Jan Garber Orchestra for the
past fifteen years.
